Workshop Testimonials
“Sachin, I just wanted to say thank you so much for your energy and enthusiasm during this training. I’m so motivated to dive into these AI tools and find ways to apply to them to my work. Exciting times and I feel this training has given me a huge boost in my AI journey.”
— Wade Johnston, Senior Manager, Product Management, Capital One
“Such incredible feedback from your workshop has continued to pour in throughout the week. Our CEO also directly recommended your Substack to our entire executive team. Thank you again for bringing so much energy and depth to the session. The team left inspired and built 40+ awesome prototypes by the end of Day 2.”
— Shefali Netke, VP Product Design, SmartRecruiters
“I highly recommend this workshop for anyone looking to go beyond just the “how-to” of AI tools. Sachin was outstanding at articulating the strategic side of using these tools. As a product manager, it’s not enough to know how to operate the software; you need to understand the right moments to apply it to be truly productive. This course provided that crucial insight, making it one of the most valuable classes I’ve taken.”
— Sonam Bajracharya, Product Manager, Capital One
“On behalf of our team, I want to express our sincere gratitude for the valuable training sessions over the past 4 days. Your expertise, engaging delivery, and clear explanations made the learning experience both insightful and practical. We appreciate the time and effort you dedicated to ensuring we gained a deeper understanding of product management, and we’re excited to apply what we’ve learned in our work. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!”
— Jingjing Ye, Executive Director, Digital Innovations, BeiGene
“The AI workshop was an absolute hit with the team. The team members, myself included, that participated in the course found it super useful and have found a bunch of practical use cases to leverage the learnings in our day to day work. We are currently running a few pilots to test different hypotheses or use cases with various AI tools, building out an AI library of prompts and resources etc. Lots of awesome stuff is happening as a result of the insights from the training.”
Workshop Topics
AI Native Product Management
My most popular workshops focus on upskilling product teams to be AI native. Product teams walk away with the skills they need to bring AI into every aspect of their role.
Specific topics include:
The Art of Product Management in the Age of AI
This overview topic covers how the role of product management has fundamentally changed in the age of AI. I’ll frame the conversation around my definition of the role of a product manager — driving the vision, strategy, design, and execution of their product. I’ll then showcase how PMs now use AI across each of these responsibilities to become faster, smarter, and gain super powers beyond their traditional role. You’ll walk away knowing exactly where AI creates the most leverage in your day-to-day work, the new product deliverables AI makes possible, and the traditional parts of the role AI obviates the need for.
Automating Workflows with Claude Code
This deep dive topic focuses on fully automating end-to-end PM workflows with Claude Code. During the session I’ll motivate why I think every PM should be using Claude Code, share detailed demos of what’s now possible with Claude Code, and teach you how to automate your own PM workflows from scratch. We’ll cover the 13 PM workflows that I have automated across strategy, customer insights, data insights, and execution. You’ll walk away knowing how to move your own usage of AI from assistance to a full automation machine.
Workshop participants will also gain access to my personal library of 13 PM skills that they can use as a starting point for developing their own.
AI Prototyping
This deep dive topic focuses on AI prototyping. I'll make the case for why you should be prototyping and then introduce the AI Prototyping Mastery Ladder, which shares the 15 essential skills product managers need to learn to become a master prototyper. I'll share detailed demos of the most critical skills so you can go from beginner to expert prototyper in no time. You'll walk away knowing exactly how to build a robust prototype for your next product or feature.
AI Powered Customer Discovery
This deep dive topic focuses on conducting AI powered customer discovery across both qualitative and quantitative feedback. I'll be showcasing what's just now possible, with new frontier capabilities like AI moderated interviews, synthetic user feedback, AI data analysis, and more. Expect multiple demos covering both extracting customer insights from raw customer feedback as well as conducting exploratory data analysis to better understand your customers. You'll walk away with a dozen new ways to accelerate customer discovery on your team.
AI Powered Strategy & Execution
This deep dive topic will showcase where I find the most leverage from AI when it comes to product strategy as well as where I continue to leverage my very human faculties to continue to generate outsized opportunities. We'll also be diving into product execution, including demos showcasing how to win back your time from the tasks we have to do but are rarely strategic and re-apply that time to the most needle-moving initiatives. You'll walk away with both execution time savers and ways to up-level your strategic thinking with AI.
Product Management Fundamentals
Strong product management fundamentals matter even more in the age of AI. Without high standards, AI slop can easily creep into your work. So I continue to deliver workshops covering essential product fundamentals, often in combination with AI topics.
Specific topics include:
Product Vision
Product Strategy
Customer Insights
Data Insights
Product Roadmaps
Product Specs
Team OKRs
Decisions
New Product Innovation
Finding product/market fit for a new product, whether inside a large enterprise or at a startup, requires an entirely different skillset from iterating on an existing product. I teach a detailed methodology, called The Deliberate Startup, for increasing the odds of new product success.
Specific topics include:
Finding Product/Market Fit
Defining Initial Product Strategy
Validation Techniques
Measuring Product/Market Fit
